I'm Beatrice Favalli, an AMI Montessori-trained educator with an MA in Education and over 10 years of experience working with young children and families across 6 countries. I specialise in early years development for children aged 2–6, drawing on Montessori and play-based approaches. I worked both in alternative school and mainstream ones, gaining a broad understanding of children in different school systems.

I’d like to refer to myself as a guide. I don't use a fixed curriculum or push children towards outcomes. Instead, I follow each child's lead through their curiosity, their readiness, their energy, and I create conditions where they can genuinely thrive. Everything is child-led, play-based, and rooted in deep respect for the child. I work towards achievable goals that that we set together with the family after an initial assessment.

My practice is grounded in AMI Montessori (trained to diploma level) and years of experience working in the field. I weave the Montessori principles together with other methodologies and I create a plan based on the individual child. There's no one-size-fits-all approach. Each session is shaped by observation, relationship, and a deep trust in the child's natural ability to learn.

It depends on each client's need. I recommend signing up for 6 sessions to start, but I am flexible to meet each family at best. Most clients find they want to continue once they see the impact and carry on for 6-12 sessions.

Everything discussed in our sessions is treated with complete confidentiality.
There is one important exception. If at any point I become concerned about the safety or wellbeing of a child, I have a professional duty to act on that concern. In that situation, I may need to share relevant information with the appropriate safeguarding authority.

Coaching is forward-focused. It's about where you want to go, what you want to change, and building practical strategies to get there. Therapy and counselling, on the other hand, tend to explore past experiences and deeper psychological patterns, often with a clinical framework. Both are valuable they just serve different purposes.

I understand that family life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask for at least 48 hours' notice. This allows me to offer the slot to another family.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged at 50% of the session fee. This policy is in place to respect the time and preparation that goes into every session.
Same-day cancellations will be charged at the full session rate. Exceptions may be made in genuine emergencies at my discretion. Please just reach out and we can have a conversation.
If I ever need to cancel a session, I will give you as much notice as possible and we will reschedule at a time that works for you. You will never be charged for a cancellation on my side.
