Frequently Asked Questions
I know every family has unique needs and circumstances. Here are some of the most common questions parents ask me about my home environment coaching and tutoring services in London, so you can feel confident about how the process works and how it can support your child’s growth.
Can I upgrade my package after purchasing one?
Yes, absolutely. You can upgrade your package at any time. An additional cost may apply, depending on the package you originally chose and the one you’d like to switch to.
Can I combine Home Coaching with Tutoring?
Yes. Many families find that combining both services works best. I will create a tailored plan that integrates coaching and tutoring to meet your family’s unique needs.
Do you provide sibling discounts?
Yes. I offer a sibling discount when families enroll more than one child. Tutoring sessions remain one-to-one, ensuring that each child receives individual attention and guidance.
What is the typical length of a coaching package?
Coaching packages vary, but usually include up to 6 sessions. Depending on what works best for your family, sessions can be scheduled weekly or fortnightly. Our work often extends beyond the live sessions, as you may choose to receive online support between or after our meetings.
Can you support parents between sessions?
Yes. Depending on your package, I provide additional support between sessions to help with questions or challenges that arise at home.
Do you offer online sessions, or only in person around London?
Most of my services are in person, as hands-on interaction is highly effective. However, I am also developing an online program for families who prefer remote support. If this interests you, please let me know.
How do you tailor tutoring to each child?
During the initial consultation, I take time to learn about your child’s interests, favorite activities, progress at school, and social-emotional development. I also consider their age and developmental stage. Based on this, I design a personalised learning plan that supports their growth and curiosity.
What age group do you work with?
I specialise in working with children between the ages of 2 and 7 years old, guiding them through their early learning journey and supporting families in setting up positive routines and environment at home.
What is the difference between Tutoring and Home Coaching?
Tutoring focuses on your child’s learning and developmental progress. Sessions are one-to-one and designed around your child’s unique needs, interests, and stage of development.
Home Coaching supports the whole family. We look at your home setup, daily routines, independence skills, and we will be creating a home environment that helps your child (and you!) thrive.
Many families find that combining both services creates the most lasting change.
How do payments and scheduling work?
Packages are booked and paid for in advance to secure your spot. We will agree on a regular schedule that works best for your family, whether that’s weekly or fortnightly sessions. If you need to reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice.
Where do in-person sessions take place?
In-person sessions take place in your home environment, where your child feels most comfortable and where we can make practical changes to your setup and routines. For tutoring, occasionally we can also work in your garden or at a local park.
What results can families expect?
Families often notice that children become more curious, independent, focused, and confident. Parents gain practical tools and renewed confidence. Together, we create daily routines that are more peaceful, collaborative, and stress-free for the whole family.
Where does your approach come from?
My approach combines academic knowledge with over 10 years of hands-on experience. I have worked as a Lead Teacher in a world-leading AMI Montessori school in London, as well as in Waldorf, Reggio Emilia-inspired, and mainstream settings. I hold a Master’s degree in Education (with a focus on Scandinavian models, including Finland’s world-renowned system), and I bring this broad experience into my work with families.
Do you also coach nursery teachers or host talks?
Yes. I am available to collaborate with nurseries, schools, and parent communities to coach educators or host talks and workshops. Please reach out with your proposal.
